Create MySpace Layout
To create your own Myspace layout will require you to use CSS and HTML, but a prior knowledge is not necessary.
There are two types of Myspace layout: 1) customizing your default profile, or 2) creating what is called a div layout. The second is better for the advanced user who has a prior knowledge of HTML and CSS, experienced people can create amazing layouts that way.
Lets start to customize the default layout. To customize a Myspace profile you need to insert HTML and/or CSS codes into one of the sections on the “edit profile” screen.
You can create this codes yourself if you have a prior knowledge of both languages or you can use codes found on the Myspace resource websites on the net.
The contact table and the extended network banner may be embellished with images of your own choice, codes can also be added to create a background image, change the font type and size, and you can hide sections of your profile like comments or friends.
Among the most important aspects of your profile is the content. If you know your audience you can create the content that takes that into consideration. For instance, if strangers will be viewing your profile then you should not reveal any personal information like your email address or phone number.
Now lets talk about the more advanced div layout customization. If you go this way you’ll have full control of what you want your layout to look like. For example, you can replace your default layout with a layout designed by yourself. It can be something you have made in a graphics program such as Photoshop, or it can be any arrangement of boxes that hold data or “divs”. You can let your creativity run wild with this kind of layouts, but they are harder to code than the first option.
MySpace Resource Sites
Many web sites have free layouts you can use to create your own MySpace layout. These sites are known as “MySpace Resource Sites.” You can go to this sites and see all the layouts that are available. When you find one you like, click on it, and you will be given instructions for how to enter the given code into your MySpace page.
