Active X
If you have Internet Explorer installed on your computer, you don’t need to install Active-X, since Active-X installs by default with Internet Explorer. However, you may desire to configure it.
Here’s how to Configure Active-X:
• Open the <Tools> menu
• Click <Internet Options>
• Click the <Security> tab
• The Internet zone will be selected by default
• Choose one of the following paths:
• Use your mouse to move the slider bar up and down to change your security level
• Click <Custom Level> and select each security setting individually
• Click <OK>
Install Active-X for Firefox
Actually, Firefox does not support Active-X controls and most probably it never will.
What you can do is download a third-party Mozilla Active-X Plug-in that will work on Firefox, designed to support Active-X for legacy, custom and also intranet solutions.
