Unblock Websites
The first thing you have to do is find out what is blocking your access to a website.
It could be either the website itself that is blocking you, or there may be something between you and the website that is blocking your access.
Unblocking if a website is blocking you
When websites block a person’s access they do it by blocking a specific IP address or maybe a range of IP addresses.
The solution for this type of block is to permanently or temporarily change your IP address.
Unblocking a website if something else is blocking your access
This is more common. Your network may have “Content Filters” to prevent you from accessing certain websites. This is popular in schools, businesses, public libraries and other similar networks.
Content filters block access to sites that people don’t want you to see in a particular place, for example schools block access to MySpace, because they consider it is distracting to students. Content filters usually block things like pornography, websites about drugs, politics, religion, gambling, hacking, and entertainment.
The solution for this type of block is to use an anonymous proxy.
